| About me : | Quite fit, not bad-looking, honest, easy-going, down-to-earth, sociable and active guy with a wicked, dirty sense of humour and quite cheeky. Sometimes a bit shy, others quite extrovert. No pretensions, airs or graces. Typical Scorpion with a sting in his tail. Come and try it - he he! A risk-taker, I thrive on adventure and the unpredictable, the challenge of meeting and coping with the unknown, learning new skills, acquiring more knowledge. So I guess I am a bit of a chameleon, adapting to whatever environment I find myself in. Still conscious of my working-class roots though and the importance of humility. Not strongly religious, but rather a humanist, always ready to listen and learn from and respect people. I certainly do not worship money or material possessions. I love meeting and chatting with people of different ages, social classes, race, religions, cultural backgrounds, speaking different languages (spent several years working & travelling abroad, often hitch-hiking. Have done all sorts of jobs - e.g. brickie's labourer, quarry-worker, waiter, factory hand, semi-pro musician, street-busker, postman, gardener, salesman, tax-officer, teacher of PE, music & EFL. Love all kinds of sports (especially rugby, football, tennis, gymnastics, swimming, athletics, snooker) and music (have played in guitar, piano & organ solo & in various groups). |
